Building a quality new brand for GW Homes
The challenge
Since 1966, GW Homes has designed and built the highest quality homes throughout Brisbane. As a family business to this day, they’re justifiably proud of their track record of reliability and trustworthiness earned over nearly 50 years.
But this very solidity started to count against them when their brand began to show its age. As a design-driven business, GW Homes needed to project a brand image that would show potential home builders how stylish and contemporary their designs really are.
The solution
Crockford Carlisle undertook a complete re-envisioning of the GW Homes brand. Our copywriters created a new brand positioning statement, “Designed better. Built better.”, which succinctly conveyed their point of difference.
Our designers took GW Homes’ trademark hexagonal design and brought it firmly into the present day, using a sleek type treatment and a modern transparent logo redesign.
The results
GW Homes love their new logo – a contemporary new take on the classic GW Homes brand, building on their foundations yet showcasing the way they take on and make use of contemporary design trends. Crockford Carlisle has rolled out the new brand identity across their website, brochures, Facebook, stationery and business cards to widespread acclaim.
